This year Canada is offering free admission to all national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation sites in honor of its birthday. Canada is celebrating its 150th celebration of Canadian Confederation in 2017.
All 171 of the locations will be open to locals and visitors alike. Luckily there are plenty of great places to stay while you’re exploring all of those great locations.
The camp sites are open as usual and the normal fees apply for those. The parking rates are discounted, however, to one pass per car as opposed to the $7 per person charge that is normally is.
There are also many hotels in close proximity to a lot of Canada’s great parks.
