On Sunday night Game of Thrones returned for its seventh season. Ireland decided to celebrate. Tourism Ireland revealed a 252-foot long Bayeux-style tapestry that tells the story of the show and features many of the characters on it.
Much of Game of Thrones has been filmed in Northern Ireland over the years.

So far only a portion of the tapestry has been revealed. More will be revealed each week on social media after each episode of the show airs. The tapestry is displayed in person in the Ulster Museum in Belfast, Northern Ireland until July 22.
