The Las Vegas strip has gone dark to honor the people who lost their lives over the weekend when a gunman took fire at the Harvest music festival. The shooter took the lives of 59 people and led to the injury of over 500.

Hundreds of people gathered at the corner of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard with candles to show their support.

Other places around the world went dark to honor the victims as well. The Eiffel Tower turned off their lights, as did the Empire State Building.
