Microsoft has been developing a Surface Phone and also an upgraded version of the Surface Pro 4: the Microsoft Surface 5. For the tech-freaks, they are in a dilemma about the release of the two versions of the Microsoft Surface.
Some of the tech enthusiasts presumed the release date to be around in March, while others have guessed it to be around April. As per the earlier reports, it was presumed that Microsoft will release the Surface Pro 5 in the first quarter of 2017 and since then there have been several speculations.
As per the Tech Times, the release of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is rumored to flaunt an Intel 7th Generation Kaby Lake processor. The device is supposed to be released in three variants of the processor: Core M (dual core), Core i7 (quad-core with eight threads) and Core i5 (dual-core with two threads). Better battery life and higher processor performance and speeds are the features which will drive the tech fans crazy in the much-expected release of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5.
Along with these features, the users can also expect the launch of the 12.5” 4K screen that can support 3D support at 60ofps. It is also expected that the Microsoft will drop the Super AMOLED screen to take the favor of the IPS touch screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to run on the Windows 10 Redmond 3 version. The storage versions that are expected include 16 GB and 32 GB. The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will support 512 GB to 1 TB storage SSD. Microsoft is also expected to enhance the functionality of the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and camera of the Surface Pro 5.
The users can also expect the introduction of the fingerprint scanner or a trackpad which might come incorporated into the device. The users can expect the upgraded Surface Pen along with a rechargeable battery which can be recharged in the wireless mode as well. The starting price of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is estimated to be $899.
