The Anantara Dhigu Resort in the Maldives offers guests an opportunity to help save the coral reefs. Guests can take part in a program where marine biologists help the guests plant frames or coral fragments. Ideally, the fragments will continue growing into much-needed reefs.
The resort also happens to be incredibly luxurious. Guests stay in villas over the water which means that it’s possible to hop in the ocean from right outside the bedroom door. Guests can also kayak to a nearby island where there is particularly good snorkeling.
Back at the resort, there is a variety of relaxing activities to take part in, such as hanging out in the plunge pools or spending some time getting a massage at the spa. They also have a gym and a tennis court for more active land workouts, as well as options for surfing and other water sports.
