Luxury cruise company Uniworld is launching a cruise called U by Uniworld which is marketed towards to travelers between the ages of 21 to 45. That’s not a suggested age range either, they’re pretty strict about it.
The cruises offered will be river cruises that visit locations such as France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. They’re offering things that cater specifically to millennials, such as signature drinks and backdrops for Instagram shots.
They’ll be trying something new when it comes to the time on land. Instead of shorter guided excursions, the cruise ships will be docked for longer periods of time and encouraging of exploration.
Ellen Bettridge, the president, and CEO of Uniworld spoke out about the differences offered on this cruise in comparison to others.
“Everything is going to be pushed to you on your phone. We’ll have big TVs up around with your social media posts going on, people talking to each other. But it’s really more about your experience and your time.”
