Brace yourselves, Hunger Games fans. Times Square is getting a real-life Peeta’s bakery and a version of The Capitol Confectionery. This magical idea comes from a partnership between Lionsgate Films and the amusement park company Parques Reunidos.
In addition to the Hunger Games themed spots, Times Square will also be welcoming a Mad Men themed diner and lounge. There will also be themed attractions outside of the food realm, such as a Divergent obstacle course and a 4-D movie theater.
These Lionsgate parks should continue popping up all over the world. Other plans in place include launching the Lionsgate Movie World on Jeju Island in South Korea, and Lionsgate Entertainment World in Hengqin, China. The latter of which will be an indoor property.
